Young Adult Summer Program Ages 11-18 @ 10:00 am - Join us to get creative and make a 3D Paper Dino Mask!

"Grab & Go" Summer Meal Program 11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Girard Public Library and the Kansas Food Bank will be providing shelf stable meals for children Ages 18 & under.
Wednesdays - June 3rd - July 29th
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Children must be present or a pick up approval must be in place.
If the child/children are present during pickup times no sign up is required. BUT if a child will not be present each pick up date, parent/guardian will need to fill out a form prior to picking up.
If you are needing a Parent/Guardian Meal Pick Up Approval Form, please stop by the library (anytime during library hours) with all children present to fill out a form.
Daycare providers will not be allowed to have a pick up approval form for daycare kids per the Kansas Food Bank rules.

Summer Story Time Ages 7 & Under @ 10:00 am; 1:30 pm; or 3:30 pm - Join us for some dino-mite stories and create a "D" is for Dinosaur craft! This age group tracks reading by minutes read. Awards will look a little different at the end. This year we have separate groups for READERS & LISTENERS. We want to encourage those that are able to read on their own by having their own awards.

Creating Cartoon Characters with Will Stuck @ 5:00 pm - With some paper and a pencil, you can create unique cartoon characters! Learn a few helpful tips and tricks for drawing cartoons with Will Stuck. All supplies provided.
Have fun at this program for 6th Grade and older!
Space available for 30 participants. Please sign up to attend.

Adult Summer Program @ 5:15 pm - Plantersaurus: Adult Summer Reading Event
Transform adorable dinosaur figures into one-of-a-kind planters—perfect for adding a touch of greenery and personality to your space. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed, social evening!
All materials will be provided while supplies last.
The library will supply the succulents, soil, dinosaur or rock planter, paint & brushes!
Grab a friend and come craft, create, and unwind with us! 🌱✨ Event is open to the public and free to attend!
Snacks and drinks will be provided!
