The Children’s area is located on the first floor and has many fun things to do and to check-out. The Girard Public Library offers Children books, magazines, and audio books. The area includes computers, play area, and table space.

May 2012
- Registration for Summer Reading 2012 will take place during the month of May. Grades are based on the school year of 2011 to 2012.
- Sessions will be available for Preschool to 1st Grade on Tuesdays.
- Sessions for Grades 2nd to 5th will be available on Thursdays.
- Times will fill up quickly, so don’t wait!
- Summer Reading sessions will begin during the week of June 4th.
